The mission of The Chef & I Catering is to provide a very high quality of food and services at an excellent value in order to achieve total client satisfaction

The Chef & I Catering has been serving the community since 1994. We are an off-site caterer with kitchen facilities located outside of Freeport PA.

Our event staff is equipped to handle almost any gathering--whether its a small delivery, large company picnic or full service formal wedding reception.

We cater regularly at a number of venues in Pittsburgh and the northern suburbs including Soldiers and Sailors (Oakland), The Mansion (Butler), and Laube Hall (Freeport). However, we are completely portable and can come to your home, banquet hall or even a remote location without electricity, water or shelter.

We are fully insured and our staff is trained and certified in food safety, sanitation and handling procedures.

Co-owner Michael Villalpando is our director of food services and has over 25 years professional experience in catering and food services. Co-owner Denny Trozzo manages our office and fund-raising business ...Tambellini Gourmet Foods.

Menu Packages

We have a number of pre-priced packages and optional selections to fit almost any affair.

Full Service Wedding Reception. Sample menu packages are listed for an elegant buffet, station style or seated meal service. Each package contains appetizers for the cocktail hour and coffee service. Guest pricing includes full chine setting, glassware, linen and many other wedding reception services at no extra charge.

Casual Wedding/Banquet Reception. Your guests are served on high quality disposable plates (etc.) as they enjoy your choice of delicious entrees, sides and salads from our tastefully decorated and abundant buffet. Includes linen, china, and sit-down service for the head table, coffee & tea service, and cutting and service of wedding cake.

Hors Doeuvres/Cocktail Reception. For the discriminating host, this can be either a casual or formal event. We offer a wide range of services and a number of creative packages.

Dinner Delivery. For events which do not require service attendants. Your food will be delivered ready to serve (hot and chilled) in disposable containers and we provide all the needed supplies and serving utensils. You may choose from a number of buffet options.arming equipment and setup is available at an additional cost.

Shower/Mid-Day Gathering. Includes lighter lunch packages and other ideas for an earlier meal. Delivery only. Service attendants and/or warming equipment are available at an additional charge.

Graduation Packages. Includes buffet ideas with selections that appeal to both adults and a younger crowd. Delivery only. Service attendants and/or warming equipment are available at an additional charge

Picnic Menu. Delivery only, served, or grilled to order. We have a number of packages to fit your next outdoor event, whether its a family reunion or annual company picnic. Pricing varies to fit the menu, number of people and level of service.

Corporate Lunches. Choose from hot or cold buffet items, individual boxed lunches, or executive bag lunches.
