Hi There, Thank you for visiting my site! My name is Angela Wauthier, Founder of Body Design Fitness, which is based in Pittsburgh, PA.
I am a Certified Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Coach through the International Sports Science Association. I specialize in weight loss, strength training, and nutrition. Furthermore, I am a licensed Zumba/Hip-Hop Fitness Instructor and have training in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
Body Design Fitness is unique for two reasons. Unlike most, we offer 24 hour support to all of our clients, after all, they come FIRST! You are never alone when you are with Body Design Fitness. Additionally, Body Design Fitness offers in-home personal training, but will also provide a workout space with equipment, if requested. Whether you are looking to lose, gain, tone, or maintain your weight, we can design a custom program just for you.
A Message from Angela:
I believe that fitness is an important aspect of any person’s life and it is guaranteed to improve the quality of life. Helping people reach their own personal fitness destination is my passion. It was my personal transformation that started my education into strength training as well as nutrition. I was a gymnast for 11 years, which would make you think I live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I suffered from an eating disorder which continued for over 4 years. After battling multiple severe health issues, trying crash diets, and at home workouts: I finally decided it was time to get in the gym and hire a trainer. I started to look at life as a way to do better, to feel better. Instead of crash dieting, I decided to look at food as a way to fuel my body, with the right foods. Instead of beating myself up about the amount of calories I burn on the treadmill or what the scale says, I started to view exercise as a way to improve my life physically and mentally. Years ago, I would make a plan to diet and exercise for (x) amount of time to go my goal: I think the biggest thing to remember is that no matter where your goals lie, it may be a long road, a slow journey, but it will be a permanent one. After 1 1/2 years of expanding my knowledge hands on with an NPC Bodybuilding Judge, I decided to go one step further and Certified as a Personal Trainer. Along my fitness journey, I have noticed how important nutrition is and continued my education further. I believe that acquiring knowledge is power and I am a strong work in progress of that every single day.

All participants receive 6 weeks worth of workouts, a complimentary nutrition plan, and 24 hour support. The best thing about these workouts is, you do NOT need any equipment and they can be completed right in your home! You will be using your body weight to get to your fitness goals and will be learning while making progress.

New Year, New You Challenge
<div><span style="font-size: medium;">This challenge in particular is unique. My 6-week Challenge is a total hit, but this challenge you are not competing against one another...you are competing against yourself. Every year, there are people that swear this year they will get healthy, get that body they want, and say no to those sweets. This is your opportunity.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">Together as a team, each participant will receive 24 hour coaching, the workouts needed to reach YOUR goal, and a complimentary nutrition plan. This is not only about improving yourself, it is about learning. Fitness is all about trial and error.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">Due to overwhelming interest, I am extending the number of participants for this challenge to 20.
